Service and Learning

It’s not what you know about Service today that really counts, but rather what you do for your customer everyday that really counts.

In today’s super-fast-track, orientated service environment we do not have so much to learn as much as we have to do.

The time to learn about service is at hand.

We however, do not always understand what it means to truly learn.

To learn means to firstly become aware of a new subject and then thoughtfully study its intricate details, to a point that those details become familiar to us, in such a way that whilst still consciously thinking about the subject at hand we are able to display that we are knowledgeable by acting in accordance with that newfound knowledge.

This will eventually lead us to a point where we do what we do so well and consistently that our acting, becomes more than acting but rather a natural life orientated action.

Practicing excellent service habits every day will make your environment one that becomes the benchmark for international service orientated business.

If you think that having a service desk or a customer service department is enough, then you are in serious trouble, customer satisfaction precedes customer service.

Most times if service is needed then something has gone wrong.

What would it be like if you offered service at a level where nothing ever went wrong?

What would you pay for a service that opened the door for you to make millions, without you having to lift a finger?

Many may ask whether a service like this exists, and where they may find it.
The question is not whether this service exists but rather when it will exist, and who will bring it into existence.

I recently saw an ad on the side of the highway that read, ‘If not you who, If not now when – Unknown’

Your ability to offer a service that is world famous lies in acting in accordance with your beliefs about service.

Motivation is what you choose to do, even if it means laying in bed all day long!!

Attitude determines how you do what you do and is the measurable seen by everyone around you, but is only positive when you are motivated to use your ability completely.

If you always do what you have always done you will always get what you have always got!!

Communication is a specific response to a specific input!

If you aim at nothing you will hit it.

When you have purpose and passion the best of life will follow.

The hobo and the millionaire are both where they are because of the thoughts they each have.

You will never act outside of how you perceive yourself.

I am a direct result of the people I have met, the books I have read and the things I have experienced.

Yesterdays tomorrow and tomorrow’s yesterday lie within this moment and will not go away!!!
